Basic Nutty Granola

I’m in the process of choosing which recipes to do and share on the blog. Any ideas? This post I’ve made about a month ago but didn’t have a chance to posting it. So here it is! The simplest basic recipe of granola.

I like this basic recipe because it is easy and requires almost no effort. You can add fruits, berries, nuts or literally anything you like! Serve with milk or yoghurt. It will be a very nourishing breakfast for busy working days if you don’t have a lot of time like me.

Basic Nutty Granola

(Makes 350g)

160-200 g rolled oats
40 g butter
90 g maple syrup or honey
1/2 cup mixed nuts

Preheat the oven to 160C degrees.
Mix oats and nuts in a bowl. Melt the butter and pour in. Add maple syrup or honey and mix well with a wooden spoon.
Cover your baking tray with the parchment and place the granola mix on it. Flat a little with the spoon.
Bake granola for about 10 minutes and than mix it. Bake it 10 minutes more and mix it again. Than leave it in the oven to dry for about 10-15 minutes.
When the granola cools to room temperature and dries place it into the jars.
Serve with milk or yoghurt and enjoy your breakfast!
